Broward Crime Stoppers seeks information on major vape device heist

Coral Springs, Florida – Broward Crime Stoppers has announced a $5,000 reward for any information that would lead to the arrest of the individual behind the theft of approximately $800,000 in vape devices.

On August 13, around 10:00 p.m., a driver from Patriot Transport parked a semi-truck and its attached trailer at the Sam’s Club located at 950 University Drive, Coral Springs. By the subsequent morning, it was evident that unauthorized access had been gained to the truck. The trailer, which was loaded with HQD Cuvie Plus vape devices, was missing.

The stolen trailer was equipped with a GPS tracking system. This system directed law enforcement to 210 N. University Drive where they found the GPS unit discarded. The trailer’s path was later traced moving southward on University Drive before its signal disappeared.

For those who might possess relevant information about this incident, they are encouraged to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. It’s important to note that informants have the option to maintain their anonymity.
