Family pleads for return of stolen jewelry after Pembroke Pines break-in

Pembroke Pines, Florida – A Pembroke Pines family was hit during the holiday season as a burglar stole thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry from their home.

The break-in occurred on Saturday, Dec. 23, inside a gated community in Pembroke Pines. The victims, still reeling from the shock, described the incident as both cold and calculated. One of the victims, preferring to remain anonymous, shared the traumatic experience. “I heard my mom, I see she’s screaming, they took everything,” the victim recounted. The emotional toll was evident, as described: “My mom is on the floor crying, screaming.”

The stolen items, while valuable in terms of money, held a much deeper sentimental value for the family. “They didn’t take anything else, they just took the jewelry,” added the victim. This loss has left the family living in fear, yet they hold onto hope for the return of their cherished items.

“We are just hoping that someone will help out and get back these sentimental items,” the victim expressed. In their time of distress, the family is reaching out to the community for any leads or assistance.

The Pembroke Pines family is appealing to anyone with information to come forward. Broward Crime Stoppers is handling the case, and tips can be submitted by calling 954-493-TIPS.
